고향인 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 작가/감독. 장편 데뷔작이자 VR 프로젝트인 XIMBI XOMBI X의 음악 사운드트랙 제작. 부산국제영화제의 IT STRIKES TWICE와 미쟝센 단편영화제에 RUNNING FROM THE DEVIL이 공식 선정되었음. 그의 영화 HELENA'S FLUSHING은 Winter Film Awards에서 New Perspectives Award 수상.
M.F.A. Tisch School of the Arts에서 영화/TV 연출 학사, Georgetown University Law Center에서 J.D. 및 B.A. Pomona College에서 경제학을 전공. 뉴욕한인영화제 공동 창립자. |
Dae Hoon is a writer/director based in his native city of Seoul. He produced the music soundtrack for his debut feature film and VR project XIMBI XOMBI X. Official Selections include IT STRIKES TWICE at the Busan International Film Festival and RUNNING FROM THE DEVIL at Mise-en-Scene's Short Film Festival. His film HELENA’S FLUSHING won the New Perspectives Award at the Winter Film Awards.
Dae Hoon received his M.F.A. in Film/TV Directing from Tisch School of the Arts, J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and B.A. in Economics from Pomona College. He is a co-founder of the Korean American Film Festival New York. |
